HOW WOULD YOU USE PROJECTS IN YOUR PARTICULAR TEACHING AREA?

Student presentation and reserach project about explorers.

Christopher Columbus is an explorer so students would have to research where he explored, where he left from, where he landed, his reason for exploring, his successes. Where did he get his funds for his trip? The students would work in groups. They would have a check list. They would use maps and show the explorer's routes. They would use map maker and have fun with this!
